Arizona Twirling Athletes is a non-profit organization providing
the ultimate in baton twirling instruction for boys and girls (ages:
5 to 18) in the state of Arizona.  We place a strong emphasis on
developing self-esteem, character, poise, positive thinking and
team work

The Arizona Twirling Athletes began in 1975, under the direction
of Becky Hewitt. This organization sponsors four baton twirling
competitions each year, and performs in two televised parades
and three local parades each year along with their award
winning self-built float.  A four day overnight twirling camp is
held each year during June for all levels of baton twirling. Many
of the ATA students and alumni twirl with their high school and
college bands.
